One of the things we are wanting to do in our ICM research is link with and share our experiences with groups doing similar things in New Zealand and overseas as well as being available to help groups get started on ICM initiatives by supplying the lessons we have learnt and the knowledge we have gained from our experience in Motueka.

On the international scene, the programme´s linkages with the UNESCO–HELP programme Hydrology for the Environment, Life & Policy have provided opportunities for some international ICM comparisons. The Proceedings and Action Plan from our Pacific HELP workshop with UNESCO and SOPAC in November 2005 have finally been also been published.

Those Pacific contacts have led to some ICM project design in the Cook Islands and Nadi catchment in Fiji, which will hopefully lead into some larger IWRM/ICM projects. We see potential for multi–agency ICM projects there.
