Stakeholders
Capacity building has taken many forms through the life of the ICM programme. In general terms, it has been achieved through the development and dissemination of knowledge, tools, training, and technical assistance to strengthen the effectiveness of community–based partnerships working across the catchment to achieve both science goals and those of our stakeholder community.
We have used a range of approaches to adress the issue of capacity building in the wider stakeholder community including:
- Community Reference Group (CRG)
- Annual General Meetings
- Workshops & Conferences
- Hui
- Field days
- Direct involvement of stakeholders in research projects (both paid and unpaid)
