Workshops & conferences
Using workshops, conferences, meetings, and lectures, ICM researchers have disseminated their knowledge, demonstrated their tools and models, and provided technical assistance to strengthen the effectiveness of community–based partnerships working across the Motueka River catchment and beyond. Utilising a range of knowledge delivery approaches we have improved both the access to our knowledge and the way it is taken up and used by our stakeholder community.
In addition to organising a number of meetings and workshops to develop the science programme the ICM programme has facilitated and co-organised a number of issue-specific workshops and conferences. Often these were associated with the annual general meetings held each year around October. They included:
- NZARM national conference 2009
- Technical workshop on gravel 2006
- HELP South Pacific meeting 2005
- Regional Council ICM Tools and Techniques workshop 2005
- Regional Council Land Managers Forum Nelson 2005
- Ecofest 2005
